Walkthrough & Notes

This quest counts for the Aiding the Wold deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. Speak to Wigbald after accepting the quest to start the public instance. From the spawn point at Updeep Watch head out northwards to the open plain. The mounted mobs required a spread out quite a bit. There are no elite level opponents. Defeat 10 mounted Easterlings to complete the quest. It is possible to use mounted combat in this instance or simply mount to move about but it is not required for the quest. To leave the instance either return to and interact with, the Return to Harwick horse at the instance spawn-in location at Updeep Watch. Or use the 'Leave Instance' feature(right click the character portrait).

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'A force of Easterlings has crossed the river and is now rampaging through the farms to the north-east of here. They have come on horse-back and are destroying the crops and harassing the villagers. 'Go to the eastern plains of the Wold and help defeat them and drive them back.' Background Easterlings are raiding the farms in the eastern Wold. Objective 1 Defeat mounted Easterlings in the eastern plains of the Wold (0/10) Mounted Easterlings can be found in the eastern plains of the Wold. Wigbald asked you to defeat the Easterlings rampaging through the farms of the Wold. Wigbald: 'Let me know when you are ready to join the battle in the eastern plains of the Wold.' Enter the Public Instance: Eastern Plains of the Wold Objective 2 Talk to Wigbald Wigbald is at Harwick. Wigbald will be pleased to hear that many mounted Easterlings were defeated. Wigbald: 'They will come across the river again, and when they do, I know that I can depend on you to be ready.'
